Many people never install a CGI script on their website because they think it is too difficult or aren't sure of the technical details. Milana Nastetskaya's new book covers every area which puts people off and explains in easy-to-understand terms, exactly what you need and how to go about finding, installing and running CGI scripts.

Not only does it cover the uploading of scripts and how to set them to work, but it also explains what your web host must provide for you to be able to use the scripts and gives basic instructions on how to configure a script for your own use. One of the best parts of the book, though, is the troubleshooting section. CGI scripts have a bad reputation for having extremely unhelpful error messages (like 'Error 500') and very few scripts available on the internet explain what to do if you encounter one of these.
